Candidate Data Protection Policy
Ethical Recruitment • Candidate Protection • RA8457
1. Dedicated Protection for Indian Job Seekers
At Khatri Tours & Travels, we recognize that Indian workers entrusting their career aspirations and sensitive personal documents to an overseas recruitment agency deserve the highest standard of ethical protection and confidentiality.
2. Handling of Sensitive Candidate Documents
During the recruitment, trade testing, and consular visa stamping lifecycle, we handle sensitive documents with disciplined protocols:
- Original Passports: Passports are accepted only when required for consular visa submission or QVC/GAMCA processing. A formal signed receipt is issued upon acceptance, and the document is stored in secured premises until returned to the candidate along with the stamped visa.
- Medical Diagnostic Reports: Medical screening records from GAMCA, Wafid, or QVC centers are held in strict medical confidentiality and shared solely with the designated employer HR officers and consular officials.
- Police Clearance Certificates (PCC): PCCs are submitted directly to the designated consulate and never used for any non-recruitment purpose.
3. Prohibition of False Registration Fees
We strictly uphold the ethical principle that candidate registration for career guidance or vacancy notifications is entirely free of charge. Khatri Tours & Travels never charges arbitrary “file opening fees” or unauthorized upfront payments before an approved government demand quota exists.
4. Digital Identity & eMigrate Data Security
Candidate data entered into our systems is encrypted and transmitted directly to the Ministry of External Affairs eMigrate portal over secured government APIs. We never permit third-party brokers or advertisers to access candidate phone numbers, resume databases, or passport details.
5. Candidate Rights and Data Access
Every candidate retains the right to:
- Inspect the accuracy of data submitted in their name on the eMigrate portal.
- Request the return of original educational certificates and passports if they choose not to proceed with a job offer.
- Report any unauthorized communication or suspected impersonator directly to our Mumbai compliance desk.
6. Compliance Officer Contact
For candidate privacy concerns or grievances, reach out directly to our principal office:
